New look on base rims after powder and clear coat - color change

I loaded up my 22 with options but went with the base rims with a plan of having them redone.

Had them powered and clear coated (matte finish to match the trim) and love the new look all for $750. I ordered the color center caps but I think I like the look of this better, will try one when they arrive.

I liked the options that Porsche offered but the cost was not worth it for me knowing I could have the base rim redone to meet my needs.

Below are pictures from the before and after.

Hope this helps anyone who has the base rim and wants a better look.

I think the silver painted spokes will hold up better in the long run compared to the polished surfaces on the S Aero Wheels.

But Porsche doesn’t want more interest in the base wheel. They want you to pay big bucks for the optional wheels.

Totally agree, amazing what a bit of contrast can do to the look. The all silver base wheels look so bad
