I just took delivery of my MY22 GTS last week Thursday. Since then I have had to use the car as a 'Guest' as the system simply won't allow me to create a new user account. It just keeps on saying 'This is not possible at this time'. Initially I hoped it was just an initial sign up issue, but the dealership is now telling me I have to take the car back. They said it should only take an hour to fix according to Germany.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so did you manage to resolve the issue?

The car should not have left the dealership without you first logging in with your Porsche Connect ID(s) to ensure end-to-end connectivity and account registration was in place.

Did the handover process skip this step?

Do you have a Porsche Connect ID registered on the Porsche Portal and can log in to My Porsche web site with the same Porsche Connect ID and password?

I would be really hacked off with this situation - the model is now 2 years old (MY20) and so basic stuff like this should have been sorted by now.

I concur, your dealership should never have let you drive away without having initialized your account.
I would return with a slightly bad attitude and insist that they set the car up properly

Is your SOS light on the overhead console red or green?

Partially my fault. I had driven an hour and was eager to take delivery. It was last minute in the afternoon and I had some pretty urgent work stuff to get onto, so it was all a bit rushed.

They have me booked in tomorrow to sort it out. They said it would take an hour max.

I had my car set up properly by the dealer in January 2022. On June 20 I got a email from Porsche regarding temporary blockage of my account for repeated attempts at entry by someone without the correct password.
Since that time - I have only been able to drive as a guest set up seems incomplete though you can navigate through parts of the process.
The dealer and Porsche online seems clueless given that account shows nowhere in PCM on my car now. I sent photos to the Porsche online team a few days back - no response. I am fussing with dealer now. I asked if my account remains blocked. Porsche says no. Does anyone have a clue as to how to resolve this short of hoping that the dealer or Porsche online team finally figures out a solution? BTW - I had the new software uploaded 2 days ago. That did not fix my problem.

If you can log into My Porsche App or My Porsche website with the same Porsche Connect ID then your account can't be locked / blocked.

Why not try creating a secondary Porsche Connect ID and try the setup with that?

Mine is still red and blinking...
That can only be fixed by the dealer. If the car is brand new they probably need to perform the “ handover procedure” to activate it. That’s what they called it at my dealer anyways.
