No fob (I keep my key in my pocket, so I want it to be as small as possible), but Amazon key blades to match color of car:

My wife's key ring has so much on it I laugh.
I am like you, my key is in my pocket so I don't even leave a ring on it - I preferred it when I had a small simple key and central locking - plenty for me but no longer available
I tried a metallic puple protection cover (I like purple) but the battery life seemed to be shortened and I got the odd "key not in car" warnings so I have it nude now.

A resurrected thread but a fun one, so I'll contribute. My "frosted" case adds very little bulk but protects the fob and buttons from scratches while in my pocket.

Forgot to add - there is a sort of Porsche equivalent but a keychain not a cover but possibly metal vs plastic - not sure - here at Suncoast:

I had that on my JCW Convertible----which, FWIW, was one of the BEST/MOST FUN cars I have ever owned (and, I am not too embarassed to admit that I have owned 60+ cars in my lifetime.

While on that subject (and off topic, clearly), here are some fun comments:
Of the cars I have owned:
BEST OVERALL CAR (any price point)- Macan GTS
BEST OVERALL CAR (moderate price point)- Golf GTI
MOST REGRETTED SALE- 1973 911S Targa (WTF did I ever sell this?!?!?)
MOST FUN CAR- MINI JCW Convertible (Drophead for those of you from the UK!)
BEST EV (and I have owned 4)- My current Taycan 4S
MOST LOVED CAR- Our white Saab 900S 'Bianca'- first new car wife and I bought together
MOST 'SOUL-LESS' CAR- Infiniti FX35 (should have loved this car but never bonded with it)
BIGGEST GUILTY PLEASURE- Lexus LX470 (normally NOT into big cars but this was an amazing vehicle- comfortable, bullet proof, could haul anything

OK- will stop there----sorry to be off topic but hopefully some amusing reading
