Depends which model you are starting with and what your budget it :). I put 40k of options on mine because I “needed” them :)

I'd start by listing everything you want. I mean when you are spending this much money on a car the last thing you want to do is regret not including something.

If you have a budget, start with the above and rate the options, and prune as necessary. There is lots of information on these forums about pretty much every option.

Just list stuff you would get or you did get that you think are good options

Best to start by sharing how you intend to use the car and the members here can provide advise on what is best to fit your use case.

So far I like all of the options I selected and there isn't much I left out of my 4S. I don't like glass roofs so I removed that from the premium package. Here is my Porsche Code copied into the new year: PP5P3PW5

The one option I had that is no longer available is the Factory front PPF but that can easily be added later on. The only option I'm not currently using, although I may use it at some point, is the basic charger wall mount since I ended up installing a Porsche Wall Charger Connect.

well if there’s no budget, get everything you could possibly want. For $134k car, I firmly believer in the “better to have it and not need it than later want it but not have it“ on a nearly $150k purchase I plan to keep for years. All to save … $1k ? $5k ?

if you post a build code, or want to ask about how useful specific things are, I’m sure folks will be happy to give some feedback.

I think there is a strong argument (fro resale and getting a better car), rather than dropping $50k on options, buy one of the models up, which are 'better' and come with more options as standard.

As for factory PPF, i went for that. needed to have some replaced after 4 or months or so. I went factory as I didn't want more than 1 company to blame if there was an issue, and I didn't want to wait/send the car off to have it done externally once it arrived. Everyone will tell you getting a expert to fit it is the way forward and they're probably right i guess.

I was also wondering I haven’t test driven the 4S yet does it feel like a Porsche and does it feel fast

Considerations for that build code:
Standard seat belts are black. Seat belts in other colors are options.
You should definitely add the on-board 150kw/400v charger option. Reasons are given in many posts/threads on this forum.
You did not include the Porsche Mobile Charger Connect, which is smart. PMCC is a problematic EVSE in the US. See posts on the forum. Non-Porsche EVSEs are better.

At a total price of $156,000 you have selected options that cost 48% of the base 4S price. You might want to consider moving up to a pricier model, which may include as standard some of the options you have selected in this build.
Good luck.
