Hi Guys!
I charge using PMCC at home usually overnight, and recently I noticed that the car stops charging at 97% and the PMCC keeps trickle charging with less than 1kw. It never finishes and never crosses the 97%
When I drive the car it stays at 97% for quite some time (feels like it’s at 100%) and sometimes it even goes to 98%.

Do you guys know what the issue could be related to?
Hopefully it’s the PMCC and not the car.

Do you have a timer and / or profile set?

I went through a phase where my daily 85% stopped at 84% for no logical reason.

Charging to 100% will potentially take quite some time as everything slows down dramatically at this level.

Try direct charging to see if you get to 100%.

It happened to me at first when I used 75% profile. It would charge to 72-73% and then stop.
Yesterday I tried direct charging and it stopped at 97%.
So it’s the same behavior whether using profiles or direct charging.

Most odd.

What happens if you use a public AC EVSE?

That’s what I’m going to try next.
I’m going to test a DC fast charger and then a public AC.

I’d get that checked. You might have bad battery cells which will start damaging other cells in the pack.
