I think it’s going to be a tidal wave of released cars. Considering cars from mid July completion dates are supposed to be delivered around the beginning of December, I have a 0% probability that you will get your car before the end of the year.

Ding, ding, ding.... You were right on the 0% before the end of the year. My estimated production start date is not until January, delivery (estimate) mid February, for now.

My TYD has been showing "Service Unavailable" for 3 days now. I've tried from multiple computers on different networks and always the same. Not sure what's going on.

Mine showed that message recently, but logging out and back in seems to have fixed it. The old TYD link didn't work though, had to go through porsche.com, MyPorsche, TYD.

Yes, I tried that - even logging in to different computers I have never used before. The app is doing the same for me and I have uninstalled and reinstalled that too.

I had to call Porsche Customer Service to get mine fixed.

Same. Production completed CP8.0 was yesterday and Arrival Emden Port today. Moving right along and ahead of schedule because this milestone was originally estimated to be on 11/11. Hopefully getting aboard a ship won’t become a bottleneck.

Oh wait, my mistake. Just checked TYD again and I’m only at “In Transit to Emden Port”, not quite arrival. Close enough

So the next west-coast bound boat is supposed to be the Glovis Stella? Looks like it’s taking an unusually long stop in Belgium. 3 days in port already, probably not hitting the schedule that was posted on Monday.

Yes, my Scheduled for Production went from estimated to actual today Oct 5! Ever since I got my allocation last month and started following TYD, the actual dates have been faithful to the estimated dates within 1-2 days. Hope it stays on schedule, though I’m not holding my breath.

Seems too optimistic to me, especially after seeing everyone else’s posts about how their orders have progressed. So I‘m preparing myself emotionally to take delivery in the Spring of 2023

yes. TYD has been going from estimated to actual pretty much on schedule so far. Here’s an update:

Deposit placed Taycan GTS 3/18/22

Scheduled for production 9/30 (estimated) -> 10/5/22 (actual)
Start production 10/21 (estimated) -> 10/21 (actual)
Production completed 10/28 (estimated) -> 10/27 (actual)
In Transit to Emden Port 10/28 (estimated) -> 10/28 (actual)
Arrival Emden port 10/28 changed to 11/4 (estimated) -> ?
Entry Port Baltimore, MD 11/25 changed to 11/18 (estimated) -> ?
Arrival at my Porsche dealer in Chicago 12/2 changed to 11/25 (estimated) -> ?

Hopefully by the time my Taycan arrives at Emden, there will be room for it aboard the Siem Cicero, which is scheduled to depart Emden sometime next week.

Try calling your dealer or Porsche customer support for a status update because for some people, TYD has not been reliably updating or is somehow delayed in updating progress.
