Taycan Waiting Room: Who has ordered and a delivery date?

Did you vcode change? I was told I am supposed to be on it, but as of Saturday, my schedule still had me done with production, but technically not in Emden. My dealer said the systems may be slow in updating since one screen had me scheduled for that boat, while the vcode wasn't updated.

I did get an email from Porsche Experience Center scheduling a time to pickup, so that is a good time.

My vcode did not change but I am definitely on the Glovis & the Glovis has definitely left. The system is just slow and should update tomorrow.

that is good to hear. I saw that Glovis left, but concerned that my vcode hadn't changed.

I placed my order last Saturday & the quote was an estimate. My OPC tend to make up the lead times so not sure if this is optimistic, bang on or pessimistic.

Sporadic & unpredictable illogical dribble for UK more like! ‍ (Good to see the odd owner getting their cars but cars through production in May parked up while others completed in last week making it to port and onward to U.K. seems odd at best .... can Porsche not schedule shipping chronologically?

Bought a cancelled order (Turbo) which is pretty close to how I would have specced it. Color, wheels, interior are perfect. It is aboard the Siem Confucius which is due to arrive at its first stop, Halifax NS, on 6/25, then on to Davisville, RI. With any luck delivery at my dealer will beat the 7/10 scheduled date. If I had ordered one I would have kept the stock headlights, probably would not have ordered night vision, and a ‘no’ on the fire extinguisher LOL. Everything else I would have chosen.

Oh my, they just specced everything. A lot of lost money in that build but hey, you'll never, ever worry that you're missing an option! LOL.

Yep it has a lot, but I got a very generous discount which made it palatable. So the reality is it is probably less $ out the door than a Taycan Turbo with popular options for which someone paid full MSRP. And from what I have gathered most dealers are currently offering little if any discount. I know for a fact that a dealer an hour away gives a $0 discount. Perhaps they will throw in a keychain LOL. I think the dealer knew this one would be tough to sell because of the MSRP so they discounted it to move it.

HOWEVER, there is more to the story. The guy who ordered it bought a 4S off the lot. Has driven it for a month or two. An hour after I struck the deal he called the Sales Advisor saying he wanted to trade his 4S for the Turbo. No way he would have gotten the deal I did. Pays to be in the right place at the right time!

Yeah, seem strange but they probably prefer to delay a batch rather than delay everyone. Just my thoughts no evidence to back that up.

Gonna have to dig through this thread and find out how long it is taking from date of order to date of delivery. Have my hands on a “used” turbo s (300mi on it) that my local exotics dealer wants me to buy and I really don’t want to give it back but I want to at least try the turbo and see if I can tell the difference and see how long rhe wait would be because I’d basically be paying full msrp for this one...

There's lots of cars sitting on lots out there if you are looking for something to try or buy. There's definitely a lot more availability of allocation than there was 6 months ago, as it appears there's been a lot of folks who have canceled worldwide. Call around if you are seeking allocation.

Today I have the information that my Taycan will be a MY2021, my dealer can not for the time being confirm that the option mentioned in the thread https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/news-about-my-2021-taycan.1578/ will be available.
The good surprise is that there is now in "my porsche" the status of my order
