UK order status and delays?

Could I ask how long it has taken from locking in your spec to expected delivery?

I locked my spec in mid April this year, I am due to take delivery on 1st December. It was short of a 12V battery so although “finished” on 30th July it was kept in storage in Germany until earlier this month.

That is correct. I asked if there had been cancellations but never got a straight answer. I suspect there has been. I wasn't expecting to hear anything until Q1.
I knew they had 4 deliveries in Q4 and 6 allocations in Q1. Either way, I'm not complaining one bit.

I wonder if a lot of salary sacrifice/company car orders were cancelled because of the economic climate, plus those needing to finance were put off paying £18k+ interest over 36 months.

I was anticipating that scenario + Porsche wanting to rush out orders before recession hits and there's an order cancellation bloodbath.

Indeed, I thought it would be 2 or 3 weeks from 2>3 but it was 10 weeks, not that it mattered (unless stage 4 had fallen before the 12V battery shortage)
Pickup tomorrow, and after deciding to have winter wheels delivered here rather than ready fitted the temperature has dropped to winter wheel conditions.
Anyway I want to feel the ride difference between them.

TH - definitely will be happening IMO. I strongly suspect the time lag between people getting the call will be down to dealers going down their lists.

Usual perusal of the approved used list and there's a frozen berry GTS on there that's almost at list now (list is 127k for the spec, sticker price is 129k). Now, the colour is a bit choice, and there are usual spec oddities of demo cars (no 4+1 but passenger display, HUD and more carbon than anyone needs etc). But just a few months ago, that sort of price wouldn't have been heard of.
