Hopefully @f1eng has had a better delivery day than I have.

Scheduled handover time was 5pm today, dealer rings me up at 11:50 to say there is a stop campaign on the car (something about coolant) which once they have the part is a day job to fit.

So now they have said the part will be in next Wednesday and pick up a week today.

What a carry on this whole Porsche experience has been!

I imagine the car has just enough charge to get out of the showroom to the IONITY charger in the car park at 49p per KWh plus waiting time.

Thanks, it wasn’t the fun drive home on familiar fast roads i had hoped, it is very foggy and my wife didn’t want to drive, so I ended up driving us there in her car then taking the short safe route home slowly with her behind me.
Anyway I am thrilled and champing at the bit to have a good drive.

I understand the chassis tech.
The rest I’m not so sure!
We tried to get Apple carplay going but it wanted Siri on, which I’ve never used so bailed out.
Now my first attempt to switch on the car radio has given a CarPlay on error which I am going to have to research to see if I am just in a wrong part of the menu.

I am used to unlocking my car, getting in and driving, switching the radio on if I wanted. I can’t do anything like that yet!

I’m afraid I’m an old bloke and taking good photos all the time on my phone isn’t something I have mastered, they are often mis-framed.
Anyway it is very foggy and I need to get my Leica out to take some good pictures before I post any.

I love the look, but I would wouldn’t I?

It will be very dirty by the time any proper photos get taken.

My pickup went to plan apart from the foggy weather stopping me having fun on the way home.

It was fully charged but went down a fair bit with the heater on whilst registering my key etc. The range predicted was, as expected poor.
200 miles t 97% iirc
