UK order status and delays?

Just got notice I'll be collecting my car on Wednesday from Porsche East London . Ordered Nov 16th 21.

Excellent!! Mine is on its way from Sheerness to PRG Reading this morning, pick Tuesday afternoon ?

Amazing! My Taycan GTS arrived at the dealers on November 25 and pick up was due on 4 December. Unfortunately due to discovery on PDI the heating wasn’t working, now waiting for parts so hoping I can collect before Christmas.

My Gts St is now at dealers ….fingers crossed all good with PDI? ..
saying that I’ll take it windows fogged up or not ….got my fleece and portable heater/fan ready ?

I’m in exactly the same position! Keeping fingers crossed that the PDI goes well ahead of collection next week. ??

I had the heater issue in our first Taycan, thankfully this was in the summer. It would be a bigger issue in a damp December! ?

Hey guys please get the heater checked out before you leave the dealership, even if they say it has passed the PDI.
There are definitely more than a few that have faults as I discovered only recently.

Dunno exactly when mine will be ready. Hopefully for my birthday the week after next. Order placed November 12th ‘21 from East London.

Transporter was supposed to arrive yesterday with their load, was delayed. But now Monday apparently…

I’m not sure what’s happening with my car anymore. After a year of waiting (ST GTS ordered on launch day Nov 21), order locked in August, then after another age it finally completed production 12 Nov. Got excited about pre Christmas delivery but each weekly update contains disappointment. Today I’m told it’s still sat at Emden. It’s even disappeared from myPorsche. Seems no logic to which cars get shipped and which don’t. Sheesh.

I’m in a similar position, ordered RWD in November 2021, locked in July, produced in October…still in Emden, no solid information but last week I was told it wouldn’t be here for Christmas.

Sorry to hear that. I’m convinced the PRG/ Porsche Uk dealers are getting priority on shipping / delivery before year end.

Sorry to hear that. I’m convinced the PRG/ Porsche Uk dealers are getting priority on shipping / delivery before year end.

I have thought the same. I’ve been okay about the wait, but knowing the car has been sitting in Emden and the monthly pushback on delivery day has been a challenge. Incidentally, the My Porsche info disappeared for me as well.

Yes sir. Hopefully a week or so to get detailed, PPF/Gtech and through final PDI… we’ll see.

I now have allocation - build Feb 23, deliver March 23.
Currently being told no Bose. (I know this isn't new news).
The agent we ordered through is trying to do all he can to get the Bose changed but I'm not holding my breath.

You'll likely have to go GTS or above to secure Bose and even then it may not be guaranteed.

out of curiosity, which dealer did you get with Lex? Cambridge?
