UK order status and delays?

So finally picked up my car from the dealer yesterday! I guess it's an early xmas present to myself

First impressions after a 45 mile trip home in it is it feels really planted to drive. I had driven to the dealers in the loan Cayenne GTS so could compare the way the two drive and there really is no comparison between the two in the handling. The Taycan really feels like it is glued to the road, taking corners etc in it's stride.

The only weird thing is the brake pedal...does not seem as responsive as I was hoping, I have read on here though others stating it takes some time to bed in properly so will reserve judgement on that for a later date....and as expected the reverse camera is the worst implementation I have ever seen on any car I have driven...hopefully I can adjust to that!

Other than that, chuffed to bits with it and even though it was a bumpy road to finally get my hands on it the wait is 100% worth it.

Congrats! ? Picked mine up yesterday as well - agree on the brake pedal feel, mine was the same initially, but improved throughout my 150 miles journey home. Will need a few more miles yet I think, but all part of the new car experience!

Picked this beauty this afternoon! So pleased. Only had a 15 mile drive home in heavy rain and Friday afternoon traffic but the biggest difference is the comfort compared to my Jag F-Pace SVR. That was not bad but this on air and no engine sound at motorway speed just makes it a lovely place to sit.

I've got a lot of settings to play with and got to find my position on the 14 way seats. Felt very strange going from an tall SUV with a more upright seating position straight into this low down sporty feel! Think it will take some time to settle in.

One thing to note for everyone in the UK due to collect or those that have just collected but didn't notice; the 3 pin standard plug to use with just standard wall sockets was missing. Apparently there has been a recall on them and my replacement is due in a week or two. Worth checking with SA if you didn't get one, might be due to arrive or they might need to request one.

Just had an email from my Dealer to say that my car is still stuck at port ( they prioritised people who were willing to take delivery in December apparently ) . Despite mine being one of the first manufactured in July 2022 and kept in pen due to fire in Battery factory. Ordered Sept 2021 and wondering if it will need an MOT before I even get it.

Nope nothing. Car arrived at Emden 12-Dec. No further update from the dealer. I did manage to add the car to my Porsche today using the vin number. It’s says the car is in “Privacy” mode so I cannot use most of the features or track where it is.
For those whose car has arrived how accurate is the options list in the my Porsche portal? Just trying to work out if I got any unexpected options?

I didn’t spec electric sport sound or electric charge cover. Are the highlighted options shown just the standard versions of these i.e. not the ones you have to pay extra for.

Mine said ‘Electric Steering Column’ on other options but that was untrue.
