From Audi RS e-tron GT to Taycan GTS ST

For many small reasons, two important ones being luggage space (the Audi trunk is not small, but impractical) and that I could get a Taycan delivered before Norwegian taxes are getting much higher. And the Porsche drives better, and I have come to prefer the Taycan exterior design, and the interior is a step up in my view (materials, design).

My colors may not be to everyone's liking, but I think they look better in person than in pictures. Green/red/black is a Christmas Special!

I first fell in love with the Audi based entirely on photos, preferring it to to Taycan. In person, however, I preferred the Taycan by a wide margin; I just could not stomach the Audi "single frame" front end.

In the end, I bought a Taycan GTS, but I certainly understand why someone would want the audi sedan.

Now if I were in the market for a wagon, I might just have waited for the e-Tron A6 Avant. Now that's how you design an estate car!

Since you have driven both, how do you compare the suspension/ride between them?

My first imression is that the Taycan is more precise, a bit stiffer (I don't mind that at all) and with more engaging steering feel. But I will come back on it when I have driven the Taycan more.

Thanks! I find a two-tone interior more interesting than all-black, particularly for the back seat. But I feared the lack of practicality with light colors more than the contrast with bordeaux. I understand that not everyone will like it, but to me it looks good.

I have a RS Etron GT too, and I'm going to swap to Taycan. I prefer the interior and driving dynamics.

Although I highly prefer the Taycan, the Audi has a great appearance too.
It's big, brutal and impressive but it has that typical Audi style and that's all right, same like that the Taycan has that Porsche styling but looks way more organic and futuristic.
I can imagining people like the Audi cuz it's more traditional, especially the inside.

All I can say is that the choice of this name for this range of e cars did not really contribute to increase the number of Audi sales in France...

Both the audi and Taycan are nice. But the audi in grey is just plain boring.
Take the audi in red and it looks completely different.

I had the Audi specified in red for a while. But changed because I felt it was too aggressive for me. And since I have Exclusive interior in cognac leather there, I at that time thought I should play safe with the exterior.

And green is generally a calming color, isn't it?

An important point, at least to me, is something I have left out. I do not see any point in carbon fiber as decor, there is no (visible) carbon on it. (My Audi does not have any carbon either.)
