Hello,

We are finalising our turbo before the lock-in date (15th) Any suggestions on the spec? Id say we are pretty happy with the car but don't want to miss out on any essentials or have something unnecessary.

The only bit that confuses us is the park assist stuff with Park Assist with surround view and Remote park assist. Is it worth it what's the better option here how useful is each?

Bit worried about comfort access and getting stolen but it is what it is a nice feature to have, and I think it can be turned off

And we got innodrive because of the Teslas autopilot although we are well aware it's not even close to the same thing apparently.

Our build code is - PPAY1G45

Any Help is appreciated

Thanks

Park Assist with Pano Surround is generally more than enough (4 cameras). If you want / need auto parking then you'll need Remote Park Assist (bundles 3D images and a few other assistance items). RPA I personally would skip and have read mixed reviews.

Comfort Access is good. I don't see the security concern really given the key emits radio waves regardless with or without Comfort Access. Foot gesture opening of trunk is really handy. All is configurable.

I left comfort access (keyless entry) off my build. Main reason was a comment from SA that he'd had quite a few customers losing stuff out of their boots while out and about. So wondering i they are a bit susceptible.
I know you can get faraday pouches to put the key in, but if you're having to fiddle about with that, you may as well just use the key to open and shut.

We do have it on our Range Rover, and they are very stealable apparently, so while i leave it on most of the time, I also use a steering lock overnight (and the Taycan too). Faraday box at home.

Definitely much more convenient to have it. As aside, it's the only FOD option offered to me to upgrade to, but over £1k.

For the 500 i'd consider adding Lane Change Assist (blind spot monitoring), visibility out of the Taycan is "reasonable" and I find the blind spot monitor to be a good addition.

The Interior cleaning set, I'd get aftermarket, good experience with Swissvax here.

I option this for one aspect only: "Rear Cross Traffic Alert". When reversing blind out of a parking spot – its saved me on many occasions. This happens increasingly with the number of SUV and crossover's parking beside you and blocking ones view.

I wish it was a standalone option though, would happily just purchase it.

Now then, this is where my O&G experience comes to the fore NEVER reverse out of a car park space and ALWAYS reverse park!

Aside from that this type of safety item should be standard and separately selectable without the need for the other 'noise' that comes with.
