Mines a 2004 lol. Temporary car I bought to move to France so I had a LHD. Cracking car though considering how old it is.

I was really worried about the width before taking delivery. I live in a part of London where it's often a squeeze to get past. Previously I had a Golf which could fit through little gaps no problem. I worried in the Taycan I'd frequently be stuck like a bus waiting for other traffic to manoeuvre out of the way so I could continue and unblock the road.

In fact it's been pretty much fine. I can still get through gaps I thought would be too tight. The wheel cameras (not sure which package they are part of) are very helpful when threading it. There's a few roads I avoid, such as those with width restrictions, so there are downsides. But it's easy to work around them.

My current imaginary situation which gives me anxiety to think about is being somewhere rural at night and having to reverse down a road in the dark to find a passing place. You can't see much out of the back at the best of times and I can't imagine the backup camera is much use in the dark. So if I ever go to Cornwall I won't be venturing out at night.
My favourite imaginary stress situation is being in a small underground car park and the ramp turn being too tight!

I’m not worried about the car, but extremely worried about scruffing rims.
it’s very difficult when needing to pull or swipe cards for entrance or exit, as the seating position demands you to get close to pull a card (sitting low), while the car width eats out of that distance too. Add a queue and a bit off hurry stress and accidents happen.
the 360, outside, in winter weather is useless as well. It’s like trying to follow blue lines in a steamed up fishbowl. Not impressed with camera performance at all on the Taycan.
same for concrete high band lanes in garages, those are often so narrow the car barely fits the angle, having cm’s left, even when turning the optimal corner. For public parking I prefer to take the countryman. In the US things are setup wider. In NL they’re very vigilant to build as narrow and car unfriendly as possible.
Cars keep getting bigger and the spaces are designed for cars in the seventies!

Oh boy... The taycan is 20cm wider and 40cm longer than my Mercedes C class... Wow.

Edit: but only 10cm wider when considering the mirrors. It will be fine ?
First time driving down this road from Tramuntana Sierra to Port de Valldemossa was a big pain, especially since it was only a few weeks after taking delivery the car:

Once you get a better sense of Taycan's dimensions narrow passages are pretty easy to maneuver though.
oh my god.

It’s a big car and being low makes it a bit harder to judge the width.
You have to pick your journeys for sure. I certainly wouldn’t be driving it down any lanes in my area that’s asking for trouble.
I kerbed a wheel within a week after misjudging how wide a road was (stupid mistake).
Personally I would prefer it smaller but it is what it is and thats huge!
In short if you have a lot of narrow streets and lanes you will struggle if you are precious about wheels and paintwork.
I should add that I personally love the car but originally my partner was going to use it as a daily to and from work but it’s just too big. So now the Taycan is basically my weekend toy and we will have to find her something smaller.
I live in Cornwall (Newlyn) so you can imagine things can get tricky!

Oh god. This is my problem, it’s all lanes. I’m going to test drive a few 911s on Monday as we already use a Q7 for daily mundane stuff and the CT was supposed to be for me, for fun, as a cool futuristic tax efficient “sort of” 911 but then also practical to throw the kids in the back. But it’s not going to be much fun if I feel as though it’s too wide to drive anywhere… ?

Too many to list. Includes a MY23 Taycan RWD

It still be fine.

The only concern would be when Google maps takes you through those tiny narrow roads in some medieval historic European Town. And in that scenario, most cars won't pass. Not just the Taycan.

Happened to me more than once. Just swallow your pride and back up. Not your fault.

The Q7 and the Taycan are almost the same dimensions.
If you’re already doing fine in the Q7, I can’t see the Taycan being a problem.
I’m not. I scraped it the other day and that’s what sent me into a doubt spiral! I’ve managed to avoid having to drive it much for the past few years (husband’s car) and that’s what has made me wonder whether I’d truly enjoy the CT if everywhere I go on a daily basis is either a narrow lane or a tiny village car park…
