I ordered a RWD last Autumn 2022 which arrived at port (Emden) about 3 weeks ago and has been stuck there since. I was due to collect it 1st March from the dealership (Porsche York) and am currently awaiting an update. Has anyone else been told the vehicle is 'stuck at port' and if so so why and for how long?! Thanks for any feedback.
Disappointing it’s stuck at port, but otherwise that’s record time, York appears to be the place to go. I ordered back in April last year, hopefully going into product this week.

Just spoke to my dealer and he said production has not stopped, and that my car still only has a delay of 2 weeks. Was due 17/3, now due 31/3
Also just had an update this morning. SA confirms an original Build production date of 03.03 but now showing a two-week delay. Dealer's arrival date slipped slightly to 07.04.

I hope I'm wrong but until PDI performed by your dealership your dealer will not know for certain (as in my case).
That is an absolute ball ache, my condolences.

Maybe they suspect the heater shortage to be address in the next month (that is the distant sound of me coping poorly).

All in all I've been insanely lucky to only wait ~6 months (ordered late Nov 22), but also recognize that I've got to be one of the last people on the island stupid enough to buy a turbo s in the current market conditions.

I have a GTS saloon on order. Emailed the dealership yesterday and was told that the vehicle is in pre-production, and should complete on 10th March. they are still estimating an early April delivery.
That mirrors my timelines and delays.

I am not from the UK (Belgian costumer) . But my car was confirmed to go in production 27th Feb with end date production 03 March. But received a phone yesterday that production was on hold (they said there is a VIN so is this build but put on the side without a heather or really fully delayed production i do not know). heater issue. They said it already shifted 2 weeks now but that more issues are realistic...so here we go...

I'm in France. My car is produced and held at the French Hauliers waiting for an heater for 2 weeks now. My SA said all Taycans are now being held for heaters.

Same for me! My delivery was initially for this week but my dealer informed me 2 weeks ago about 2 or 3 weeks delays! I hear some people in uk are a delay scheduled up to 6 months  I am afraid to call my dealer but I will do today. With witch garage did you order?

I ordered in Antwerp. They told me call back in 2 weeks. i can life with delays for a month or two. but if this takes up to 6 months they can keep the car. i am not interested in a car which is produced 99 percent. It sits there on the factory parking lot for months waiting for one part and at the time it gets here it is close to the facelift model. We already have an electric car so ready to swap this order for a stock ICE porsche to replace this order if possible. the stories i hear about this model are not positive and Porsche worthy in my opinion. the excuses for parts etc are over. A lot of these things we read a bad design.

I’ve been advised of a delay of around 3/4 weeks. GTS saloon order now due late May.

What models did you guys order?

My SA tells me that my turbo s has no delays, will finish production next week and is set to be delivered by the 17th of April. No issue with the heaters or anything else.

Wondering if porsche is just desperate to sell me the car before I come to my senses and find a more constructive way to spend my mid life crisis.
Hah, similar here.

My Turbo S was tracking for the 24th of March and SA said it was likely going to be earlier than that based on an update they had.

As it is, we're pushing it back for collection on 5th April for new tax year purposes.

Haven't had any information about delays for heaters or the likes. Same with the upsecced Burmester system too. It all seems to be go...

I got the email saying it had moved to phase 4 over the last couple of days.

Been quietly following threads on here since July last year when my business partner and I ordered 2 GTS's. Build slots were confirmed in Dec for delivery in Feb and March. Feb car was delayed and has been sat in a compound with no heater installed for 5 weeks. My car still showing on track until a call yesterday where I was told by the sales manager at the dealership that it was showing as delayed till April but no guarantee that it then wouldn't end up sat next to my business partner's car in the same compound.

He then got the same phone call from her to tell him that there was no ETA on release for his car and it's likely they won't see it till July.

On the same day we were offered a cancelled order in Neptune (mine was Carmine and his was Crayon). I decided to take the Neptune one and I collect it tomorrow.

On top of the heater issue our dealer confirmed that various loom and chip shortages are causing problems supplying Bose and other bits.

Are you buying through a company? Why delay until 5th April?
