I've got until 10 August to finalise the spec. The only changes I've made since the original order with the lease company was to add the 75 years package, which included options I was going for plus some nice to have extras, but works out £500 less than specifying the ones I wanted separately (of course with price increase still more than at point of order).

The code for my build is: PRZX5ZX5

Still might change the colour to crayon, and welcome any comments/suggestions.

I like your build ?. Maybe just comfort access and 4-zone climate is what I would add. I also like the passenger screen.

I think everyone that's got a GTS recently has had comfort access for free, I certainly didn't order it but I have it, it appears in function on demand to purchase but I didn't pay for it or start a trial.

I just recently went through the same process, and had to make GTS final-decisions…. Choosing is loosing, but we have the privilege to all get exactly what we want. There is no better choice, only different ones. You have speced a beautiful car - well done.

Compared to your decisions, I’ll give you my choices with the rationale for a different decision:
- the 21” RS Spider wheels are beautiful, but I stayed with the Turbo S Aero wheels for (1) range in winter and (2) less likely to damage with potholes and curbs.
- Black/Crayon is very nice. I chose for (similar) the Oleo Black/Atacama beige as it gives a more luxurious feeling, with i.a. the back of the pilot seats also covered in leather.
- I went for the 18-ways leather seats (comfort is very personal)
- This car for me is a 2-persons car, so a bench for 3 people in the back (4+1 seating) is not useful. The 2+2 seating is IMO more beautiful and the tray in the back is perfect for keeping some (stylish) stuff like an umbrella.
- RAS + PSP: yes absolutely!
- I didn’t go for the panoramic roof, and took the noise and thermal glass instead, as the asymmetric darkening in the back seat windows doesn’t look so nice for me.
- B-pillar racetex: I did not specify that, but probably a good idea. Did you think of the storage package to use the front storage behind the lower centre screen? In my spec, I did add quite a bit of extra leather and stitching in the interior (sunvisors, doortrim, centre console, storage tray,…) and the light-wooden panels to add to the feeling of wellbeing inside.
- My choice was to add almost all technology assistance systems (RAS, PSP, ALK, LCA, PAS, ACC even innodrive) to make the car handling as sharp as possible. Only PDCC, PSCB and APA didn’t make my choice/budget.

Your choices are beautiful, and you’ll have a splendid car.

Love comfort access. Leave house, open door, sit, drive off.

I have a Neptune GTS ST and I love the colour. No regrets. Crayon doesn't do it for me too boring.

Most of your config is the same as mine., same wheels etc. I have the GTS interior and love that too. The 18 way seats are much nicer that the 14 in my opinion. Makes the car feel a bit different and special. I also have full Innodrive and so far very impressed with that.

I'm not a fan of prvivacy glass so didn't opt it. It's way to dark for me and makes the car too van like so I've had my side windows all tinted in the same film but not so dark but a dark rear window.

I'd go for the folding wing mirrors as a must and 360 deg cameras. I also have the ambient lighting.

Nice spec! My comments:

COLOR:
Neptune Blue: lovely color, was my #2 choice

WHEELS:
21-in Spyders: LOVE THEM

INTERIOR:
Black/crayon leather- personal choice, I generally stay away from light interiors in all my cars due to staining

SEATS:
I picked 18-way and the are awesome, comfortable. Cannot speak to the 14-way.
I picked 4+1 seats as well, has already come in handy with 5 people in car.
Consider: Front seat ventilation (I picked because CA heat).

75 YR PACKAGE:
All options I have as well and are good A+

EXTERIOR:
Consider: Exterior mirror base painted in gloss black. Replaces the dull black plastic and matches other glass black accents

POWERTRAIN & CHASSIS:
RAS: YES!!
Consider: PDCC

LIGHTS & VISION:
I opted for the thermal and noise glass, does keep the car cool.

INTERIOR DESIGN:
B-pillars race-tex: good choice!

ASSISTANCE:
Consider: ACC

COMFORT & USABILITY:
Consider: Comfort Access, I am a big fan
Consider: 4-zone - kids/guests love it

INFOTAINMENT:
Passenger Display: I have it, really a gimmick, would not pay extra for it
Bose: Excellent

Excited for you!

Not going to comment on your spec other than to say it looks fine to me.

Just going to pass along a bit of wisdom our SA had for us. Make sure any changes you want to make are with your SA because the configuration lock may move up and what Porsche builds will be what your SA has in the system. Our lock date did move up by a week very late in the process.

PSCBs + black calipers
Crayon seat belts to match interior choice
Comfort Access
Matrix lights
Dash cam pre wire (free)

Avoid: Passenger Display, ACC, rear seat heating, rear AC (pointless due to size of cabin)

Part of a package but otherwise skip 4+1 unless transporting small minors. This is a 2+2 car trying to accommodate a 5th "seat".

Colour is too personal but neither choices would be mine to be honest.

Enjoy!

Thanks everyone for your positive feedback and suggestions - where would we all be without the wisdom of 'strangers on the internet' !!??

I have comfort access on my Macan, and whilst I do like the convenience on entry, I always lock with the key anyways, often a second time as walking away, just to be sure!

As I only carry a front seat passenger less than 20% of my miles, and back seat less than 5% - the rear climate screen and passenger display are things I can comfortably not spend the extra £££ on.

I've tried out the seats many times in the dealerships, and for my seat/wheel set-up I find the 18 ways a bit uncomfortable around the shoulders (and I'm an average build). 14 ways I find similar to the seats on my 996 which are the most comfortable in any car I've driven.

The adaptive cruise was one thing I thought I might be missing out on by not including - I had this on a courtesy car (XC90) a few months ago and had a mixed experience, mostly OK but when significant deceleration was needed I found it very slow to respond and harsh on the brakes - I would be interested to know others experience with the Porsche system.
Comfort Access will still require the key to lock or a touch on the door sensor. Coolest feature is that the car will auto powe on as you sit down. Tick the box.
