Porsche Bellevue is AutoNation. I’m pretty sure that Infiniti is something else (although I haven’t figured out which yet)
As far as I can tell, a single individual is the primary shareholder of the Infiniti dealerships in both Bellevue and Kirkland. It does not appear that they're affiliated with a national chain.

[...] The PDX -> ATL move was down to a choice of universities. I was deciding between UW in Seattle or GT in Atlanta. It was 45 & pouring down rain during the UW visit, 75 & sunny in Atlanta (with no humidity... I later learned the hard way that I'd been tricked). I'd had enough of rain at that point. I was also looking into skiing on the UW team up in Seattle, but that seemed like a dead end post-college. I decided I'd head down to GT and race cars instead with their FSAE team (I'd also grown up karting). There's a good amount of amateur car racing down here and some incredible tracks close by.
Okay, in that case, I'll excuse you for moving to the south after spending summers running gates on the Palmer!

I live in bellevue, so also happy to take a look for you. and would be interested in swapping wheels if you go the bellevue route on purchase. I sent a dm.
This sounds like a perfect swap -- I'll keep you posted!

Now I feel better that I couldn't find the regional or nat'l chain that owns that dealership.

Meanwhile, I put in a $95k offer, minus any potential spark plug replacements or radiator fixes as determined by the Porsche dealer.
Stay tuned...

Well that sure accelerated as fast as ..
... perhaps the Taycan Turbo I saw at a car show this morning:

Dealer called me back ~15 minutes after I emailed my $95k offer.
Which was rejected.
With a counteroffer of $97,345.

Plus some sort of $200 fee for something other, maybe mandated by Washington, maybe not. I didn’t get into that much, but instead just countercounteroffered $97,354 total, and we were good. (I’m handling registration and taxes in Massachusetts. Actually quite easy for a used car buyer, just have to be your own runner, or rather biker in my case.)

Place a $3k cc deposit today, will wire the balance tomorrow (Monday) morning.

Once I am officially the owner, the dealership will for free swap the 21” on my CT with the 20” of another Bellevue CT owner. (A win-win!)

Inspection, he was fine with taking it across the street, but I didn’t bother – especially since this purchase has long passed any sense of rational decision-making, hah! Okay, somewhat more seriously, when I mentioned my concerns of the inspection having been done by an Infiniti mechanic, he said it was actually done by a mechanic who works exclusively on German and Italian cars. (And every Italian car creates as much work as one German car – okay, he didn’t say anything like that, but I might not be off by far.) He also knows the couple who traded in the 4CT, even mentioning which tech company each of them works for. (How stereotypically Bellevue.)

I’ll contact the transport company once I know the first date that I can count on for the ownership being in place and the tire swap completed.

Thanks for everyone’s help, I really you owe – or do all of you owe me $97,345 for egging me on with this purchase?

Not that you asked but I just bought a 2021 Taycan ct4 in from south Florida and had it shipped to Texas. I used Masney Enclosed. Their price was reasonable and competitive. They use their own trucks, doesn't seem to be a broker.

Congrats on the Taycan. I love mine. I happened to find one that met my two main criteria, color, mamba green and inexpensive. Was probably the least expensive advertised CT4 in the country. Lightly optioned car.

Congrats, @Jonathan S. and hope it’s a good one/to your liking. It’s a great looking car, and was worth the effort of egging you on. Too bad you didn’t want to fly and drive.. Next time!

Congrats @Jonathan S. ! Very nice spec Taycan you just picked up, checks a lot of my own boxes as far as options. Too bad you're not visiting us to pick up the car, but maybe you'll do a road trip this way some time instead! Enjoy your new car. Perhaps do a shorter road trip soon instead. IMO no better way to get to know your car than a roadtrip.

Thanks everyone!

Looking at my schedule in more detail, the problem is that I have to be home on September 7, 15-17, and 23-25. Plus I want to be on Mt Hood September 1. And a wildcard to-be-scheduled biz trip to Denver or Boston in September. So I don't have a nice week+ uninterrupted stretch to visit friends in some combination of Seattle, SLC, Denver, Iowa, and Pittsburgh, which is how the cross-country trip would register favorably on my WorthItMeter.
However, I do have an upcoming trip to visit a friend in Delaware Sep 18-21 with a relaxed itinerary that would allow plenty of buffers for EA dysfunction, so those ~740 miles should be the ideal first major outing!

congrats on the purchase! welcome to the club, at last!
Thanks! And does the club include marital counseling? Or are we buying and driving these cars in lieu of marital counseling?
Speaking of which, I just realized one timing complication ...
... the car might arrive while I'm away August 30 through September 2.
My wife and our daughter will be home then, but I have not yet told them about this purchase.
If this car is deposited on our driveway while I'm away, then ... well, actually, maybe it would be better if the shock occurs when I'm not physically present to face them!
(Would be kind of funny to blow off emails, texts, phone calls, voicemail with brief replies, "Oh, right, forgot to mention that, sorry...")

Hmm.... I think a bigger problem for you would be the car arriving while you're not home, and you receiving an email from you wife "I LOVE my new car! You are the absolute best surprising me like this! Is someone coming to pick up my old car, or are you taking care of this when you get back? Off to drive my awesome surprise!!!"

^ Heh, that was good!
Already happened though with the i4 M50. I placed a deposit in Feb. Then in May, I said that I was going on a ~50 mi bike ride:
https://www.i4talk.com/threads/delivery-odyssey-…-and-possibly-upcoming-very-special-road-trip.8345/
... which I did.
But instead of riding back, I drove back in the i4 after taking delivery. Wife was not pleased (as in, seriously upset) at this previously unannounced purchase. But I said it was for her.
(And, totally sincerely, part of the reason I bought the i4 is that she prefers cars of that size.)
First though I had to test it for ~3k miles.
But now it's been hers for the next ~6k.
And since she now gets to have a nice EV, shouldn't *I* get to have one also?
See, only fair!

You should have driven it home.
?

(Besides, I thought they closed Palmer for maintenance in late Aug, and reopen after Labor Day? You can ski Rainier to keep your streak alive - and it'd be better, 'cause you earn them turns and say the 4CT was a reward for your effort.)

^ We're going there to skin up -- lift riding is cheating! And the Palmer on September 1 is hilarious, a gather of monthly ski streakers. Last year we counted at least half-a-dozen states being represented.
My Beaverton friend is about to hit 20 years straight. Some of the most dedicated streakers, if they need a medical procedure, will schedule it for the second day of the month, ski the first day of the month, then they have almost two months to recover in time to maintain the streak.
(BTW, Palmer used to start up again in late September, often after only a couple weeks of maintenance. In recent years though, they don't reopen again until late fall. No idea why.)
