They will pay you at 4.1p on an OI tariff for export. I had an email today telling me that they are increasing the export rate by the end of the week to 15p on the OI tariff. I think this is the same rate as their standard export on an non-EV tariff. Maybe they want people to store it overnight and export in the day. I don't think we will make much doing that as we use most of it. But it will become advantageous to export in the day and charge the car from the grid overnight rather than discharging surplus energy into the car then topping up from the grid. Interesting. Probably becomes less good to use the excess electricity to heat water and use oil/gas instead.
