I get there’s no guarantee. But seeing such a drastic reduction in price makes me wary. Also, I saw a cpo 2020 turbo with about 5,000km and 5 (1,2,3,4,5!) previous owners. That raised a red flag and made me question the whole cpo thing. Yeah it’s a one off, but still really weird

But I agree that many ppl spending over $200k on a car, especially first time EV buyers, can be a fickle bunch

No one can guarantee you won't have problems, but it's a good long warranty.
In my experience Porsche handles CPO warranty claims very well.
To add to Derek's post, even if you don't buy CPO, as long as the vehicle is within its warranty period you can now by a Porsche extended warranty.

I forced myself to sit through this so you don't have to.

She didn't like it because:
  1. The radio would sometimes lose settings. (She mentions this with bass for some reason)
  2. Sometimes it would put itself in park at stoplights.
  3. She lives in an apartment and found EA to be broken too much.

She didn't like it because:
  1. It didn't have enough bass.
  2. Sometimes it would put itself in park at stoplights.

Thank you for taking that bullet!

I see a lot of typical luxury car buyers getting Taycans more as a curiosity. I met one the other day who bought one off the lot and didn't even know what trim it was (badge was removed).

But as soon as the dashboard problems start, they realize charging is a pain in the ass, and the range wasn't as impressive as newer luxury EVs, they ditched their Taycans.

I still love my car because of the way it drives, the quality, and the look. The electronics quirks are a mild annoyance, but I'm not ready trade for anything else until I'm ready for the electric 718 in a couple years and my kids are out of the house.

This is highly subjective. Charging the Taycan is great for me. I pull in my garage, plug car in, unplug when I need to use it again. I almost never go on road trips where I need DC fast charging. Thankfully that has mostly worked fine for me the few times I've needed it.

So for me, charging the Taycan is glorious compared to wasting my time visiting smelly, dirty gas stations.

Yeah I have no problem charging at home, but recently started venturing out and driving around to visit friends, stopping at EA chargers once in a while if needed.

That experience is pretty bad. I was living in a bubble only charging at home.

Yep, understandable. The EA charging experience seems to be different in different parts of the country and that is a huge problem. Charging at a DCFC needs to become every bit as reliable as filling a gas tank at any gas station.

EA is the only EV charging network that Porsche, BMW, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes, etc are all signing deals with. And they aren't expanding charging fast enough to meet the capacity demands of all these new EVs coming to market. The number of chargers has not changed in my area by more than a few.

The EA chargers are crowded almost during all times of the day here in Northern California where gas is close to $6 and practically everyone has bought an EV.

Mmm, I’ve stopped at the Stanford EA multiple times and never had to wait. Have never had to wait here in Monterey either, or at EA stations in Paso Robles, LA, or Palm Springs (save one time out of five there). The locations generally suck, but availability hasn’t been an issue for me.

Yep this is my 2nd and cannot wait to get rid of it biggest pile of trash I have ever owned problem after problem complete dash failure now. The trade are fully aware hence the massive price drop in value and most folks I know will never buy again.
And for me, this it the best car I’ve ever owned in my life. I don’t know the folks that you know Mr. Troll but they must be the most MFer douchebag Trump Fing Mustang-Camaro driving losers who don’t know a good car if it hit them smack in the face.
