Yep, great vid and beautiful spec--congrats! White CT 4S (w/gloss black 21's) was my initial build choice, then changed last minute to volcano grey in a panic. You got me second guessing my 2nd guess! ?

Thanks for watching and for your comments. I had a 996 in Seal Grey and absolutely loved that car and color. Volcano is cool - you're going to love your car . When does it arrive?

Great video! After a year in my 4S, I agree with everything. I'm in the northeast, so hot summers and cold winters. Adding to the annoying list is something that you might not have the opportunity to use in Texas too often--the rear window defog/frost system. It only stays on for about a minute! I get it, heaters use a lot of power, but I have to push the button seven times if we have light snow or heavy due! Also wondering if anyone else has difficulty seeing the main dash clock and outdoor temp? I am 6' tall, and the position of my seat and steering wheel leaves these two displays completely out of sight (blocked by steering wheel) unless I lean quite a bit to the left or right. I'd like to have time and temp on one of the center displays--there is so much redundancy in buttons on those screens, there is room. Also really miss the trunk switch on the door. I've been driving Panameras for the last 12 years and used that button a lot as I was exiting the car. I find having to turn back and manipulate the center console screen is more time consuming than just pushing the button on the back, which is usually has a bit of road dust on it leaving dirt on your finger and a print on the car--the kick under the rear plate is a cool feature, but not always reliable and you risk getting dirt on your shoes if you kick a little too high... Also save your money on the passenger display. I thought I couldn't live without it when choosing specs, but it turns out to be $2300 Taycan logo if you never have a front passenger, which I don't. Even if you do, there's nothing there of use... Love this car so much though, I don't think I can ever go back!

Porsche Taycan TAYCAN REVIEW AFTER 7,500 MILES 1696088605276

Do you believe that a guess-o-meter range value of 311 miles displayed immediately after a Taycan is charged to 100% is accurate?

Thank you for watching and I agree with you 100%, and yes, the lack of a liftgate release button is something I curse often - I wish I hadn't forgot that one for the video. I do believe Porsche will return some functions, like the liftgate and A/C vents back to mechanical devices, but the car itself is so ridiculously fun to drive, the company absolutely deserves recognition for styling and engineering a true Porsche sports car that just happens to be electric, have 4 doors and in the case of the Cross Turismo, a small "wagon" back. I appreciate your support!

Honestly, yes, I do if the driving style during that charge remains consistent with the style that created that estimate previously. As I said in the video, that was a high and we usually see around 285 because my wife LOVES showing off the acceleration to friends and family. And we've seen as low as 245 after long highway rides and plenty of onramp hijynx. Either way, real world range destroys the EPA's ridiculous estimate. Thanks for watching!

Late Oct, according to my SA. Tracked a 4S sedan at PECLA and fell head over heels with its performance—just astoundingly nimble for such a heavy car. But the CT has far superior looks imho. White or grey, it’s a beauty.
Keep up the great content!

Agree. I saw a video where a Taycan CT beat a 992 Carrera around a small track by about 2 seconds. The Taycan is such an incredible machine. Porsche did what it has always done- engineer and build phenomenal drivers cars.
I’ve been to PECLA and PECATL twice. Some of the happiest places on earth!

This seems like a grab for views. 7k miles and not many specifics in the video on the experience from the driver, that appears to be your wife. If you really want to contribute to the forum, post your build, what options you like or regret not having, or even better get the SoH reading and share it with @ciaranob who is doing a study on it.

Did you even watch the video? Seems not. I specifically mentioned features and options. Feel free to watch other channels instead. No hard feelings here. And of course I want views. I put a lot of time and money creating videos for car people.
Cheers.
