He's obviously loving it, and it seems a very competent car, though its USP seems to be offering thr most ICE-like experience from an EV. Personally I think the control interface and its configuration look overwhelming- not in a good way- and for all that drift optimisation functionality it seems just as hard to pull off as in a Taycan.

I continue to be impressed by Hyundai. If they can keep their prices low, I think they will continue to be successful by offering the kinds of things that most people want at a good value.

Maybe but different and quite a bit better than the run of the mill SUVs to my eyes!

I like the looks...reminds me of the Lancia Delta (albeit a massively inflated one).
Presumably because it reimagines the Hyundai Pony (like the Delta, styled by ItalDesign).

The idea that there is something good (other than familiarity) about a multi speed gearbox is a real facepalm moment.
IC engines only need a gearbox at all because they only work reasonably well over a very narrow rpm range so loads of ratios are needed to reasonably match road speed to the crap engine characteristic.

I am familiar with the sudden thrust of a powerful IC engine coming "on cam" but that is evidence of its weakness when not "on-cam" not any superiority!

I suppose people like the familiar, CVT transmissions are unpopular despite being superior too.

Indeed, I thought it was going to be an electric Delta until I saw how vast it is
