Just Updated the My Porsche App to 9.1.0 & Lo and behold' the Climate controls etc are finally accessible via Apple Carplay on the Taycan!

Had to remember not to press 'Open' in the App store page but instead tap the info screen there and that brings you to the update button!

Some more examples of options (lack of color in tiles here just a function of a color mode I had prev used in CarPlay):

The "Relax On" tile starts your seat massage and a bird sound track comes on !! Not sure yet if the latter is customizable to something alternate!

The HomeKit integration is possibly useful as it for example can show the status of digital locks etc.

You can rename and configure a fair few options via the App interface e.g. saved/renamed climate tab.

Wow you really, really like red -- even your phone battery status is red. Do you keep the phone battery low all the time so it matches your car? Next time I suggest ordering your Porsche in green so the charged/charging battery status will match the car color. Much more practical.

Haven't updated myself yet, but based on the screenshots in this thread, is there no way to make fine adjustments to the climate such as fan speed, temperature, etc?

Can't recall off the cuff so need to mess with it more - I did note that you could not save 'air circulation pattern' to the saved Climate Control tiles (just cabin temps for driver/passenger etc) - so certain functionality not fully accessible it appears. I'm guessing if the mentioned adjustments are missing now they might appear in later updates.

This is a pretty great update! Porsche seems to have gotten access to a new CarPlay template format that isn't documented which allows for a nice grid-based layout. Love the personality in many of the new features

OK - update and quick answer is no, at least not in this iteration.

There are however functions that change what appears to be the fan speed in different zones - for example when I tapped on-off the three air flow direction buttons there was a change in fan speed but not oddly enough reflected in the PCM console setting!

The same happens when I chose Auto Climate - there are two settings once you select this option 'Strong' and 'Soft' where Soft is clearly about half the fan speed as Strong - not sure if any flow redirection occurs - but again, the indicator of fan speed in the center console stays unchanged between them - not sure if a bug or if they're not bothered syncing these.

But in respect the "Individual" mode on your PCM AC screen, there are not additional ways to direct or customize the air flow/speed manually in the Car Play tiles that I can see.

I have only had my CT4S a few weeks but when I try and open the My Porsche app via Carplay I get the below, can't even get it to work

What am I doing wrong, please???
