Ahh so there are two forms of trip data available: from your vehicle (which you get to from your vehicle page, and is data collected by your car), and from the journeys tab (which is the Electric Sidecar trip logger, and is data collected from your phone). I need to merge these two datasets together as I completely understand why it’s confusing right now. To see your journey logs with charge data, you tap the calendar button in the journeys tab.

A few folks from the forums here have offered to help out with localization of the app, so I've built a tool for dumping all of the app's strings to a spreadsheet and made it available here:

This has revealed that I can do a better job with string comments to help with the context of each string ? I'll work on getting that cleaned up. The spreadsheet has public comment rights; if you'd like to edit the sheet directly shoot me your email via DMs and I can add you as an editor to the sheet directly!

Now I know this is trivial to say the least but might be nice nonetheless to have the option to place an image of your car (from the already subscribed server photos album) sit under the car's name on the startup page of the app - no?

I realize that this might make things a little too close/similar to the OEM Porsche app intro page, but still that page when you launch is sort of 'in your face all business' vs perhaps a more aesthetically pleasing shot of your expensive kit on app launch !!

A possibility! Though admittedly my goal is to make the launch time of the app be as low as possible so that you never actually see any loading screen ? I do think there's a few ways to better surface the visuals of the cars though; something I've been noodling on is the ability to make highly customized widgets with vehicle photography...

Oh! I realized my release notes didn't make it into here, so re-sharing for proper visibility:

- A crasher that occurred when opening the Journeys tab has been resolved thanks to several hours of back-and-forth binary search debugging support with @bn8959.
- 80+% of the app now has German localization thanks to @dws_ch! Over 400 strings were localized, so this was a pretty big lift; thank you dws_ch!

@featherless maybe I’m not doing something right, but when I drive my other car (not configured into Sidecar) the trip shows up in the journeys map list. I can’t find any way to mark the trip as NOT my Taycan. It looks like there’s a place to switch between various vehicles configured into the app but not a way to specify “none”. It would be pretty nice if the app automatically figured out that I was not in my Taycan for those trips and flagged them for me.

Just confirmed that it looks like there's a bug in the journey vehicle selector. Working on fixing that now — thanks for the report!

Just a quick question: is it possible to have “are you sure” dialog box when pressed on an icon to start warming the cabin?
looks that i accidentially pressed “warm” when i was charging watch…so my cabin was warmed at01:00AM and 6% of SoC was lost

Oof that’s a fair request! Will add in the next release.
