Apple Watch App - Constant sign-on required?

I have the Porsche app on my Apple Watch and it works well.

However, if I go more than a day or so without using it, it signs off and I have to authorize it through the phone app again. Frustrating b/c if my phone was at hand all the time, I probably wouldn't be using the watch app...

Just curious if I'm "special" or if this happens to everyone? Maybe a European privacy standards thing?

Any insight is appreciated.

I've not experienced that, but I keep the porsche widget on my watch screen and I'm pretty much always wearing it, so it may be checking in fairly often.

I have the Porsche crest on the face of my watch as well (which I wear all the time) so I guess I'm "special" when it comes to the need to reconnect all the time.

No, I have the same issue. It definitely doesnt stay paired.

Same issue. Need my phone ecery time I use the watch app. Not using the watch complications

I have the same issue and it’s making the Apple Watch app useless. It’s already slow, but having to relogin literally every day means I never even try to use it now…
