I've had my Taycan Cross Turismo 4s just over 2 years and I'm currently on 28,000 miles.

The tyres need changing (AGAIN) and I've just dug out my previous invoice and it seems I'm getting 14,000 per set.

Is this good ?

Having owned MANY cars over the years I've never owned one that eats tyres as quickly. But then I've never owned a car this heavy (i think).

Should I stick with Pirelli's or switch to a diffent brand ?

Cheers

All depends on what you want.

The Pirelli are stickier and have very good grip but wear

The Good Year Eagle F1 are also very good and longer lasting. I used my first set nearly 40,000 km (24,00 miles). The new version Assymetric 5 are also a bit quieter on 21 inch wheels.

I'm not sure if getting 14,000 miles from a set of 21 inch tyres is good on your car but i know it is similar to mine.

I have a 2023 Taycan 4S CT with 14300 miles on a set of 21inch Pirelli P Zero's from new. Front tyres are right on legal limit of 1.6mm depth with rears at 2.00mm. I've a new set ordered and due in this week.

I recently had a loaner Taycan Cross Truismo on 21 inch Good Year Eagle F1s from new. One big difference i noticed over the Pirelli's was the smoothness over all local and regional road types. Even though the Good Year's profile was the same as the Pirelli's (35's) it looked more visually and I suspect this led to the smoother feeling.

I’ve just changed both Pirelli Cinturato P7 Winters and Summers after circa 28k miles. For Winters the tyre shop has put on something from Hankook. Drove them on the snow last weekend and grip seemed good.

I am at 20K miles and the tire (or tyres if you prefer) look great. I have the same Michelins as were installed on the vehicle when I bought it 2 years ago.

Mine has about 14,000 miles on Continental ProContact RX (21" Mission E wheels), but these are the M&S tires that they use here in California (which also gets you a nice sticker on the left of the dash telling you they have a lower top speed rating).

Still plenty of tread on mine, but most of those miles were freeway trips.
