Battery conditioning/pre-heating for DC charging questions

I have two questions about the battery conditioning for DC charging:
1. It seems to be working great when using the car navigation system to a DC charging station. If I save the station as one of my favorites, conditioning doesn't seem to work, I think the navigation system uses the "address" for the favorites, but it doesn't save that it is a "DC charging station". Is that normal?
2. Is there a way to manually activate the conditioning process? I prefer to use waze for navigation, so would be good to be able to start conditioning the battery 30min before arriving at the station.

For 1. Correct. Kind of stupid but when you enter the address even if it is called DC charger xyz it won’t recognise it as a charge stop. You need to search for charger on this location. It will then show the same charger but with total nummer of chargers and free chargers in yellow. If you save this as a favourite it will recognise it as a charge stop. I have a list like this in my favourites abd when I select the favourites list it shows how may chargers are free for all my favourite chargers.

2. unfortunately not. But sport plus mode will also heat the battery.

I have EA charging sites stored in favorites. When I turn on the car and browse through favorites, the EA favorites display green boxes showing numbers of available and total charging stations at each site. That indicates that the entry stored in favorites is a charging station, not just an address.
I'm fairly confident that if I put one of those favorites in as a destination or stopover and the car needs to charge at the location, the battery will be preconditioned.

If you don't see the boxes with numbers of available chargers beside EA entries in favorites, the favorite is for site address, not the charging station.

1. Could be a bug as it is reasonable to expect that it should work as you might expect.
2. No way to pre-heat for DC other than as has been suggested - Sport Plus (to an extent). Mind you DC will spend a little time heating in any case.
