I enjoy some of his insights, but he also tends to prefer the base/lower end models in the lineup of anything Porsche makes.

I have watched a few of his and the attitude is always that you "do not need this", which is not helpful. You think he is going to do an in depth review of options with pros/cons, but the answer is always the same, you do not need the higher options. For example, he talks you out of optioning a PDCC in the Cayenne by driving it around town.

I agree with him having owned a Taycan Turbo for 3+ years and replacing it with a Turbo S WHAT A MISTAKE I MADE !!! The loss in range is diabolical making it unfit for purpose.
I hate it and would swap back in a heartbeat

I wonder what would be the reason for the worse range?.. I think there is only a very subtle difference in some "inventors" for a faster launch control - otherwise turbo and turbo s are identical?

I have a Turbo but not seeing any differences that would make a Turbo S different in terms of Range. Turbo S actually weighs less: 5,121 lb. vs. 5,132 lb. for Turbo per my printed brochure. The only way I can see Range impacted from one to another would be Wheels and Tires. This EPA range graphic demonstrates that in comparing their stock configurations.

My in town driving in near 0C weather charging at home (inside closed garage) shows me 250 miles Range estimate, but close to 280 miles when it is warmer. I have Mission-E wheels with All Season Continentals and 5k miles.

It is a suv!! complete different market he's talking about and It is not comparable to Taycan saloon.

I wasn't being sarcastic, I hate the range on my Turbo S, I went from a 911 Turbo to a 911 Turbo S and loved the change, whereas the Taycan Turbo S is terrible compared to the Turbo
