There is another thread here where I discuss issues in detail when trying to initiate my first charging session.
https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/t...arge-charging-na-massive-fail.2168/post-29115
It appears that some of us can not select available 350KW terminals to activate a charging session using the Charging NA app. The app is simply not showing any 350KW terminals. When you click to LIST 350KW terminals, it shows 150KW terminals instead. The app is simply not displaying the 350KW terminals so there is no way to activate them using the app. This might be unique to a specific version of the App. I have located 4 local stations with available 350KW Terminals (as identified in the EA App), and the Charging NA App refuses to list any 350KW terminals at any of these 4 stations. I am using the latest Android version of the Charging NA App (released 18 Aug 2020).
This might very well be an issue only with the Android App.
If anyone would like to help gather more info, please fire up your Charging NA App, locate a station with 350KW terminals, and try to list them for activation. On Android, you have to "Select Your Plug Type" as "CCS 350KW" in order to list them. But when you do this it shows 150KW terminals instead.
If you want to play along, please try this. Please report back:
- If You could see/select specific 350KW terminals (Yes/No)
- What O/S you are running (IOS or Android)
- What the version or the release date of the Charging NA App you are using
- If you could see/select individual 350KW stations, What is the address of the station you were looking at?
Thanks!
