Maybe I’m off in my perception of what hinders EV adoption in the US, but I don’t think it’s cost. One can buy today a 20k Tesla (3, used) which is below the average transaction price of a used car. The US buyer isn’t convinced they can drive as per usual (where/how far/ how fast) and the Chinese vehicles, however advanced, don’t change that.
