I can't say enough good things about Colchester. Let's just admit that the coffee is awesome, which I know is a stupid thing to give praise for but it is!

So, I had to go in a few times where I'd bought a second hand taycan from an independent even after we had been in looking at buying new (we ended up NOT making as much money from a house sale as we had expected)

Even with that as the case, the sales guy (JH if I recall) still came over and said hi when I brought the car in.
I did have an amusing situation in that the car thought it had been stolen, and wouldn't start, or do anything a few days after I'd bought it, and the service given was impeccable.

Obviously they were saying it could have been several things, but when it was confirmed I was the new owner they admitted that was probably the reason!

I've had recalls done on it, and even had a certain issue with fans fixed due to porsche GB being fair and honest.

Yeah, OK, sometimes I'm there longer than 5 minutes, but I'm a chatty guy and when I HAVE needed to drop and leg it, I've been able to do that.

One time they even had the car worked on at 7am first thing so it could be ready for when I arrived at 8:30 as timings ad changed for me.

Yes, sometimes you can get faster pick up, but mcdonalds serves faster than TGI, and mcdonalds.... Well.

As I put it to my kids, when a porshce leaves the dealers, they check it to make sure its pretty and good looking as it's a prestige marque (I know.... I sound like a pretentious knob!).

For the record I've also got a boring puegeot people carrier, and a jag, and porshce is STILL the best for customer service.
(Although I have probably jinxed that now!)

But if you have a choice.... Porsche Jardin Colchester!

Unfortunately Colchester is a bit of a trek!

Latest is that I have an issue that makes the car pretty useless to me the 3-4 times a week I really need/have to use it (filled to the brim!) - rear boot hatch doesn't open at all. And I have an appointment booked on the 30th January to get it looked at, with no replacement vehicle offered or I'd have to wait until March. As this isn't my 'fun' weekend car, and we must have 2 good family haulers for various reasons, it's really *really* very inconvenient. I've also called and left messages with their service department and had no call back from them (booked via the app and email)

I think access failure (your boot) should qualify you for PA recovery = jump the queue. Worth a call. My only reference point was a friend with a RR whose boot failed and that qualified so may be the same.

So far, I agree.

Warranty repair on a car not bought there, plus campaign work and one use of chargers FoC.

Booked in for first service early March. Good impressions on that too thus far.

I gave them a call but they couldn't help. Apparently there is a boot release but it's under several panels and is only for use in the workshop

They have forwarded a notification to Porsche Reading to contact me, but I do not hold out hope.

Experience at Porsche Bristol positive.

Turbo was booked in for PCM update/battery check this week before Christmas without fuss (all good and PCM now MUCH better with zero bugs).

Got a well spec’d Storm Trooper spec Taycan 4S ST as a courtesy car, was originally told the job needed the car booked in for a week, but it was all completed in 24hrs.

Car was cleaned when I had specifically asked that it wasn’t and they didn’t charge it, but staff polite, responsive and everything done without fuss.

Enjoyed a nice cup of coffee whilst charging the car when collecting it.

So good experience at Porsche Bristol and the PCM update has made a big difference ? (and I’m glad I’ve confirmed the car isn’t going to burn itself to the ground due to a faulty battery ?).

Experience at Porsche Nottingham, worse than Tesla.

Mechanic took me for a ride to diagnose a suspension issue. Scrapped the bottom, which I mistakenly thought it was the suspension, and is denying anything about it.

Manager seems like a good person, but ultimately they want to avoid liability.

Any good recommendations for Porsche servicing in Midlands?

First service went without a hitch last month, and the cheapest I've seen quoted on here.

Looking into a couple of warranty items for me too.

Remain very recommended!

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Porsche GB. They stepped in and the car will be repaired on their expense.
