thanks,
For me it's the Porsche Charging Service (i.e. not "plus"), without a doubt. I do use IONITY mainly, which is the reason I am happy I'm on the standard (non plus) tariff. The new "plus" one seems incredibly bad value.

This video may help you.

i gather even the standard tariff is still a paid one? we will not be doing a huge amount of miles so i think i will be staying clear of paid subscriptions. will watch the vid when i get a chance thanks for sharing

Yes, you have to pay for the standard one once the three years free expires. However, that is cheaper than the "plus" also. I think it's £199 in the UK per year, so just over £16 per month. The "plus" is £30 per month.

Afternoon all, quick update regarding Ionity, I normally use the one at J1 M5 near The Hawthorns, I work nights so it's never busy (and 24 hour Starbucks next door :)). When I first started I was scanning the bar code but then thought I'll just plug in the charger and see how it goes, it worked seamlessly and has done since. Fastest I've seen is 240kw charging but that was after driving back from Telford, normally about 130kw. No complaints really, charge comes through to the Porsche app straight away and they bill at the end of the month.

Dealership EVSEs aren't Ionity and you will be charged for both power and time spent charging (welcome to Porsche!) - scandalous! Generally, other non-EVs are parked in the spaces and many dealerships have restricted access (business hours only) so watch out.

General rule of thumb - never pay for a subscription unless you are a heavy public charging user. Give the money to charity instead.
I believe that the new expensive subscription, gives the same price for Ionity, Porsche Centre charging and Porsche Lounges. No more time based element. Expensive subscription though and as you say only useful if you are a heavy user of these services.
