My car is a 2022 model, and I have the option of electric charging port cover.
However, I recently find that after locking the car for a period of time
When I without carrying the key ,
the charging port cover can still be opened (both side)for one times,
and when closed cover again ,it can't be open (lock)
and for a period of time ,
it happen again (without key ,and can be opened)
my dealer currently dont know why this is happening.

I just tried. LOL you’re right. Hope this is a software thing and we get a patch/update. Maybe we should all try and report to make it more urgent for Porsche.

I hope thieves know this security issue and charge my car for free now!!

I wonder what a criminal can do with access to this port? Can they short the battery charge terminals to cause a battery failure or worse, a fire?
I hope Porsche already thought to protect against this…

Update on the current status.
My distributor is still waiting for a response from Germany. And it don't know the reason for the problem......
And every time I wash my car, it gets opened.
It's really frustrating.

There is a procedure using the keyfob to disable comfort settings including the powered charge port doors when washing the car. I think you press lock and unlock simultaneously. Consult the manual.

Yes,I know this procedure…
but the problem is that even i without carrying the key,
after locking the car for a period of time(maybe 5 min)
the charging port cover can still be opened (both side)for one times.

Much like how the software uses the mechanical brakes on occasion to keep them clean, Porsche software also diagnoses how often you open and close of your charge port covers and automatically opens them during a car wash when it detects excess dirt has collected. You are expected to run your single use Porsche-branded microfiber towel gently along the inside of the port, at which time the horn will gently sound twice in thanks and close the cover. ?

Nope, not a clue why this is happening to you. I haven't tried all the options above but can say that I lock and leave the key away, and I haven't had an issue with the doors opening during a wash. Please keep us updated on what you eventually find.
