My 2021 previously black Taycan was just wrapped in "shark blue" vinyl and also satin PPF. Also got 20 inch Aurum Mission E type wheels. The car looks much better in person than the pictures below.

Very happy with the results but I think I need to lower the car. Would love to hear your thoughts. Be nice :)

Vinyl AND PPF? Sounds excessive and EXPENSIVE

…but it does look great!

It does look great, and in the era of colored PPF availability, seems like it could be done a little easier, but still a killer color.

Unfortunately, they didn’t have a colored PPF in Shark Blue, which would’ve made it easier and less expensive

That looks absolutely stunning!
And indeed, lowering it 10 mm would give it that final touch!
Lowering more than 10 mm would need (expensive) alignment though, unless you don't care about uneven tire wear.

Maybe spacers (10 mm)?
I did that as well and it makes the wheels more flush.

This car is akin to me turning on max contrast and saturation in Grand Theft Auto lol

it’s my camera. I don’t know what’s going on, but it’s not a true representation of the color. It looks 100 times better in person.

With regard to lowering, do you have an air suspension, or are you on springs? Lowest mode with the air suspension and 15mm spacers all around (assuming your aftermarket 20" mission E style wheels have the same offset as OEM wheels) would look great without doing anything to the suspension. The spacers fill out the wheel well enough to visually minimize the wheel gap. If you are on springs, then lowering springs may be an option.

I drive around in the lowest setting on the air suspension and did the 15mm spacers all around on my OEM 21" wheels and I find it to be a great balance of looks without compromising clearance and ride quality. (damaging the battery pan is a very scary thought in light of recent reports of getting a car totaled due to seemingly minor battery pan damage)

The links below are a place that has a Taycan in the fleet and have done extensive testing and fitment on a Taycan. They were great to work with.

I did the H&R but with 15 mm for the fronts as well
Their house brand Spacers in the second link seem fine as well

Wow! This is sure a nice way to get a "new car" for probably less than $15k USD (Vinyl & PPF only - I'm sure the wheels alone were $4k).

Enjoy this new car! ?
Yes, I was leasing this car and was tempted to get into a new Taycan lease but getting the wrap/PPF and new wheels was a much better and more cost efficient option for me. And, yes, it feels like a brand new car.
