My first Taycan was a 4S saloon which I had from new and kept for just over 2 years (20K miles).Do you notice any difference? Glad you did?
Thanks. It feels like there are still some newer 2024s coming on the market. Not sure the deal is good enough yet , but also am starting to think the big dip on EV price is a little overblown on the used market for low mileage cars.My first Taycan was a 4S saloon which I had from new and kept for just over 2 years (20K miles).
I bought a new GTS ST last year.
Significant difference / increase in performance and overall feels a better car.
I had a loaner new gen 2 4S ST last week which felt just as powerful as my GTS.
If buying gen 1 I'd recommend the GTS over the 4S.
I have the opposite experience. I really dislike Race Tex / Alcantara everywhere and chose to spec my 4SCT with 18way leather seats, 21 in wheels and various other bits. The extra 30PS isn’t really noticeable in an EV …. But beware of folks on here trying to justify or promote their decision (like me) . I checked out both and really didn’t like GTS.My first Taycan was a 4S saloon which I had from new and kept for just over 2 years (20K miles).

My GTS has leather interior. I also am not a huge fan of Alcantara seats, and I absolutely needed the ventilated front seats in Texas.I have the opposite experience. Standard UK GTS (v1) is Race Tex (Alcantara) I really dislike it on steering wheel and seats. My GTS has leather interior. I also am not a huge fan of Alcantara seats, and I absolutely needed the ventilated front seats in Texas.
Not sure how common the leather interior is in GTSs, but there are out there!

I went full leather...no racetex.I have the opposite experience. I did! But as a company purchase and having a 992 Turbo S didn’t get the sense of spending more for so little gain. Tried PVTS on experience day and seemed pointless on what is effectively a fast saloon aka ‘big barge’.I went full leather...no racetex.
I think you'll also find that it is more than 30PS extra plus sigjificantly more torque oh and PVTS plus is standard. I think you didn't do your homework fully.

Original post was for a Taycan 4S vs Taycan GTS comparison - not some random alternative - 2nd owner too where the premium new price becomes irrelevant and GTS, Turbo and Turbo S variants become accessible.I did! True .. but I genuinely don’t believe GTS is worth the extra and definitely not a Taycan Turbo S which I have also tried over an extended period.Original post was for a Taycan 4S vs Taycan GTS comparison - not some random alternative - 2nd owner too where the premium new price becomes irrelevant and GTS, Turbo and Turbo S variants become accessible.
