My MY24 GTS on 21” came with Pirelli’s. They’ve lasted 10k miles and 1 year. On Tuesday I’m getting non NF0 rated Hankook Ion Evo’s fitted.
It was that or PS4S (again non NF0 rated).
I'll also go for Hankook (on 20") soon.

Have the Hankooks installed on my 25 4s, very happy so far.
Had put on Pilot 4s on my 20 4s and they were great too.
i do not feel any lack of handling, and they are just as quiet.

I have low rolling resistance tyres on my Prius but they have less grip than normal summer tyres and I wouldn't dream of hobbling my Taycan with such a thing.
I have Goodyear summer tyres which seem good with respectable wear and will stick with them.
I have Pirelli winter tyres but we haven't had bad enough weather for me to be impressed or otherwise yet, though @tigerbalm has been up to the arctic on his so I am not concerned.

I must say going for long life tyres or all-seasons on a Porsche seems pretty weird to me.

Would love to hear your experience with the Hankooks. It’s time to replace the 21” Pirelli’s on the Spyder wheels on our GTS. Looking for better wear, less road noise and higher efficiency. Thanks

Do you have 21” wheels on your MY 2025?

Being fitted this morning. Will report back once they’ve bedded in and I’ve done a few miles!

Noise is better on mine IMO. (Not especially scientifically tested).

(21“ RS Spyders on a GTS ST).

Too soon to tell on the other bits. If I were to guess, range is better.

Porsche said that they wouldn't fit the Hankooks onto mine as they aren't N rated. Same wheels. I am looking at Goodyear Asym 5's, as they carry NF1 rating.

Most of us who have owned a Taycan for serveral years know that tires wear quickly and tend to be noisy.
I have owned Michelin Pilot Sport 4's and Pirelli winters and am reasonably satisfied, save noise and rapid wear.
Pirellis are reasonably quiet due to soft winter compounding, while the Pilot Sport 4's get noisy after only a bit of wear.
As I plan to replace my summers/winters of choose all season, does anyone know of any new, improved EV tires?
Any insights would be much appreciated
I had Goodyear on my first one 21 in lasted well - second had Pirelli P Zero which barely lasted 11k miles so replaced with Goodyear - very much happier!! All proper Porsche spec or your Insurance could be null and void if making a claim . OEM - always.

I've been running the Hankooks since April and the jump in efficiency has been amazing, coming from Pirellis. Have discussed it in detail elsewhere on here but as they are NF rated in 19 and 21 I bought the 20s and fitted them. There is no discernible difference in noise or handling, for me anyway, and the efficiency increase has been astonishing. Previously seeing 3 miles/kwh on a trip was a cause for celebration, now I get 3.1-3.4 nearly all the time for longer drives. Sadly the Winter wheels go back on soon.

But they are not NF rated in 21s? Not that I can find

Those are too narrow for RS Spyder rims.

MY25 cars have narrower rims and these tyres.

I appreciate I am a huge cynic, but the N rating piece is more about manufacturer deals than anything genuinely material on the tyre's abilities on any given car.

They are so slow with the ratings that if you stick religiously to what they insist on, you often have tyres that are several generations older than the best tyres available.

If they rate a 285, they're going to need a really good excuse not to accept a 305 of the same type.

Of course dealers won't fit them necessarily as there will be supply deals happening that will cause issues (my cynical view).

I've never stuck to marque "certified" tyres across a number of performance marques and have always had far better performance than the originally specified tyres.

YMMV.

(BTW, I have also yet to find a main dealer who is cheaper for the exact same tyres than you can get elsewhere. Often by a very large margin - £100+ per tyre in some cases).
