@tchavei , that graph does not make the slightest sense to me. I have no idea on how they compiled this but please look at the Porsche charging rates for Norway and you will see thix is complete BS!

I agree the graph seems a bit far fetched but I have no way to know the real costs of public charging across Europe by myself. In the case of Portugal, the value is close IF you chose the cheapest charger with the cheapest card during night time. Certainly not the porsche charge card.

I think that @tigerbalm showed rates for Norway at 1.80 Nok per kWh ( 0.15 € per kWh). A Tesla model 3 would perhaps consume max 18 kWh/100 km. And Tesla prices are not different from others, on the contrary.

I have no idea what the original source wanted to show with such crap

Right now – for me at least on the legacy Porsche Charging Service – I indeed get NOK 1.85/€0.16 a kWh. Which feels very reasonable. The idea that Norway has the most expensive electricity in Europe is nuts. The opposite is more correct!

Good to know.

Last night, I charged up 75kWh at a supermarket for €23 which comes out €0.30/kWh

Another "Portuguese" tip:

Go to the fastest charger you find

Reason: the faster you charge, the cheaper it gets.

I have some new 180kw chargers around my home and they're now the cheapest around town.

I can "top out" my battery at 17€ now instead of 23€ when going for high speed.

The most expensive ones are the old slow ones... 3kw-11kw max.
