Porsche Connect Service Cost is $319 in the US

I just renewed the Connect service as my initial free 3 year subscription is due to run out at the end of this month on my 2022 4S.

In order to get the additional free year of EA charging, do you have to sign up for the 'free' Porsche Charging Service as well?

Thanks for any other experience you have on that. I don't want to sign up for the 'free' Charging service yet in case that jinxes it

$300+ per year for basic functionality is absolutely ridiculous. I would be ok with $300 for another 3 years….

No, at least not for me!

I started this thread in January 2024 when my new car Porsche Connect subscription expired. After nearly a year I have no regrets. If the Porsche service had the same or better functionality and feature updates as Tesla I would reconsider. Porsche is missing the boat on this.

I see that for some the preheat still works after connect services are expired. If this is still the case can you tell which version of the app you have? For me all of it is grayed out.
