I recently had the end of my shifter paddle - the little “razor” that comes out of the dashboard - tear. According to the dealer, this required replacing the whole shifter…which involved a lot of kind of ridiculous disassembly, etc.

Anyone know if the rubber end of that is just a part that can be replaced, and where the parts list/breakdown is?

Thanks

Suncoast is your best source to ask.

I think it is item 7 on this diagram. https://www.boutiqueporschepoitiers.fr/pieces/taycan/9J1/2022/903-050/
Gear Shift Assembly
Starts with 9J1 713 033 followed by suffix. 23 versions. $350+
No subcomponents listed.
Edited: Item 27 is the repair kit for selector. About $70. (Thanks to @figure1a)

Yeah, unfortunately, the "wear part" (the rubber end, which is what broke on mine) isn't separately listed. Bummer.

@dnanian: as you can't see it when you're driving (it's hidden behind the wheel, right?) can you glue it back?

It can be glued, but it's not so much that you see it as feel it, even when glued (since the touch surface is ripped).

What is part 27 right under it on the diagram? Isn't that just the shifter without the entire assembly?

You are right. That is listed as repair kit for selector. About $70 US.
It would be nice if that can be replaced without pulling the dash.
