When microwaves have this on the front, things are out of hand.

I paid extra to get a dishwasher which was NOT internet connected, or app connected. I guess the extra is for additional touch buttons (it has more because you need to operate it from its control panel, rather than a phone app), and because the SKU sells less units (was not stocked, had to special order). When microwaves have this on the front, things are out of hand.

Yes also with android autoBtw, does the new directions work with android auto? Say if i have waze running on android auto does its directions show up on the digital instrument cluster
To resolve just program one of the 2 diamond keys. I use the one on the steering wheel. It works for me as well. But the implementation on the screen means it doesn't work at the same time as the cameras. So when backing up / out of my garage I want the cameras on to see where I'm going, but then want HomeLink so I can close the garage door. Physical buttons on a rear view mirror don't have the same problem. Ah... technology....
Yep. Diamond key on the dash is for the cameras. It's a not-too-terrible workaround. ?To resolve just program one of the 2 diamond keys. I use the one on the steering wheel.

All Taycan has a large 8.4-inch screen on the center console, did anyone ever use the touch pad function to enter information? Only wish Porsche can use that space wisely. It works for me as well. Agreed I would forgo the next track/station button and have it as a programmable button. When starting, I immediately press the diamond button on the screen to suppress the audible speeding warning.
I use the diamond button on the steering wheel for recuperation. It's now up instead of down, which I really enjoy because I no longer hold my left hand too far down.
The third button should be the lower one on the steering wheel. Who needs to change the transmitter on the steering wheel? What nonsense.![]()
Same, lost connectivity to app and all in-car Porsche Connect. Mine was dropped off today for the J1.2 software update.I just had the software update applied to my J1.2 CT. My main reason for taking it in was because it wasn't connecting to the app and nothing I tried fixed that.
They did mine in a couple of hours. You can see when it has been done if you open the App and look at the Manual... it asks you to download a new oneSame, lost connectivity to app and all in-car Porsche Connect. Mine was dropped off today for the J1.2 software update.
Service writer seemed to think they could get it done by end-of-day, but wasn't sure because they had not performed the WRV3 campaign on any cars yet.
How long was yours at the service center for the software update?
Same. Once they got to the car it didn’t take more than a few hours. I took it to a pretty large dealer though (Stevens Creek Porsche), and while I didn’t ask I suspect this wasn’t the first one they’ve done. They did mine in a couple of hours.
