Hi all, not sure if this had cross anyone's mind but i want to go back to a gas car. I had no issues with the taycan but insurance is crazy expense. The car is paid off but paying $540/month on insurance with a clean record seems excessive. I got quoted $230/month($1411 every 6 months) on a macan gts. Has anyone else gone back to a gas car? thanks for reading

There is no way a Macan GTS is going for that price, is that a lease or a finance with trading in the Taycan?
I would consider a Q6 etron before a gas macan, but that's me..

that’s price for insurance. The macan gts is $103k. My taycan is paid off as I mentioned in the original post.

How is this possible? I am paying $550 every 6 months for my 2022 Taycan and have comprehensive with $600 deductible. Taycan is 10% cheaper than what we pay for our 2021 X5. Taycan replaced a 2017 Genesis I had, which was a $30K car and when that happened, my insurance premium went down! Allstate

California pricing is no joke. I have $100 deductible on comp and $1000 on collision.

Yea right??!!!! I got the quote and was like damn 2025 macan gts insurance for ONLY $1411 with the same coverage???!!!! ?

Incredible insurance prices you have. I pay 180 eur /month for my 2021 Taycan 4S here in Finland. The price just came down nicely.

I’m not sure if it’s available where you are, but I just applied for Porsche Auto Insurance and it was dramatically cheaper than USAA…like 70+% cheaper. They charge by the mile and I drive about 5,000 per year. The switch will save me $4K per year.

i tried that too, Porsche insurance doesn't cover California ?
