I have a 2023 Taycan GTS that I purchsed a couple weeks ago (CPO). I've owned quite a few sports cars and always have PPF applied to at least the entire front end. This is the first time I've had unpainted trim pieces (ie. lower lip spoiler, side skirts, etc.) and was correctly told they cannot apply PPF to these unpainted parts.
My question is, what options have you used to smooth out the surface of the unpainted parts, including the lower lip spoiler, in order to allow for PPF application? Or... is there another method besides PPF that sticks to the unfinished part and looks good?
I'm also willing to buy a gloss black replacement lip spoiler, but I've only been able to locate the unpainted version. Does anyone know where I can find one? It is an option when purchasing the cars, but even the dealer says they can't just order one in gloss black. If anyone has a painted (gloss black) lower lip spoiler that fits a 2023 GTS, reach out to me please.
