I am going to buy one in the next six months or so. I am sure there are some threads on this, but I couldn't find any specific ones. I am looking for guidance on options and land mines. I appreciate any help you can provide.

Many of the listed CPOs are RWD with the smaller battery, i own one and it's great, the car feels "light" or lighter then a GTS/4S so just consider to look for that if you are looking for the higher range and faster charging spec.

Thank you. I live in the PNW, so I need the range and AWD.

Find examples that you are interested in, then we can comment.
2025 is the new generation so lots of improvements over previous gen that matter to some not all.

If you are going to CPO, the biggest landmine is already covered. My recommendation is to understand which TSBs are in play at the time of purchase. Other than that, I would stay away from the specialty brakes but that is more of a precaution than a specific issue. Good luck ?

- performance battery +
- premium package

Everything else would be a “nice” to have versus a “need” to have. Best wishes on your decision!

Be aware of the ARB6 and ARB7 battery recalls.

I recently purchased a CPO that wasn't subject to the recalls that many pre-2025 cars are. Since you're in the US, the recall should be listed on the CarFax report.

My car is a 2024 RWD model with performance+, rear wheel steering, sport chrono and PASM. All highly recommended. The tech package less so.

Good luck!

Good start. This one has too many fluff useless options but if you can get this for a good price then why not. It has all the performance options but the Rear Wheel Steering. Color combo is meh, for a 4S with this many options. Also, Variable Light Control Roof can malfunction with lots of trouble waiting for replacement. I was considering one, but one ahead of me head it and one panel was not turning off, so it took months to get the roof and then replace, so all trim and fit and finish not original, no thank you to that. Also, it does not have InnoDrive so you are not getting ALK (Active Lane Keep), so again for this price and no ALK is not a good thing. Other option that matters to me is Night Vision, so this one does not have it.

Thank you. Could you lay out your preferred spec?

Happy to do it but would like to know if you are open to say 2022-2024 or you must have 2025+ as these are very different in my view when you are shopping for a Taycan, also, what is your budget and if you are ok with RWD or you must have at least a 4S.

I purchased my 2025 CPO 4S back in in April. My car was turned in by the first owner after three months, and 1,100 miles. He equipped the car with options that mimicked a GTS, but in the end, decided he''d rather have the real thing. He traded in the 4S for a GTS after just a few months. His loss was my gain. I saved over $20K on a very well equipped, mint condition 4S, and ended up with a CPO warranty in addition to the manufacturer's warranty.

This is my first Porsche (and my first post on the forum 😎) and it certainly won't be my last. I absolutely love this car. I've driven electric vehicles exclusively since 2013, and this is hands down the best one I've ever owned.

My advice: Be patient, and keep your eye on the Porsche website. The good cars don't last long.

Good Luck!
