Very low chance, it requeiers hardware at the door and around the car,
Even BMW didn't launch it correctly, the apple key in the i4 for example doesn't have the proximity features like the one in the iX... hopefully Porsche wouldn't make this mistake.

What leads you to believe that support for Apple Key does not already exist, and did so for J1 when Porsche initially committed to supporting the feature? It was confirmed today that the Apple digital wallet car key will be available for J1.2 and compatible with J1, as well as most Porsches that support keyless entry. The feature will be in focus during the September 9th iPhone release with many manufactuere reporting that their vehicles need the latest iOS upgrade to unlock the feature. Whether Porsche will unlock at that time, remains to be seen.
