Ciao '22 Taycan, hello '18 McLaren

well, 3 years in and I had an overall wonderful experience with the RWD taycan
always had a sunroof on my vehicles and don't need the 4 doors any longer
feel like the OG taycan was a conservative interpretation of the 570S, and the Mc is a lightweight carbon fibre beast
went from frozen blue to Curacao blue
cabin is smaller, but I'm not a long hauler
McLaren opening up a huge sales/service facility within 1 mile of me, so,

I love McLarens.
I've driven the 750S and 765LT. The 750 is probably my favorite of all the cars I've ever driven.

Porsche seems to be going the conservative Benz route
Wanted something a bit more cathartic, even if that's a few minutes of nirvana waiting in the service facility

For me 12 year old McLaren 12C reputation is in the rear view mirror, and it keeps the aging Porsche 911 turbo demographic from chasing a great driving experience

oh, did I mention it's a spider hard top, dihedral doors and 3.1 secs zero-60

LOL, it is a bit more (cost & benefit) than a taycan, in many ways

Will it be your daily driver? I love a McLaren, but to me it’s a very different kind of car compared to a Taycan. I’m curious, are you planning to use it daily, or wasn’t your Taycan a daily driver?
