Isn't that a standard reading which forms the basis for assessing the battery against the 80%/70% warranty thresholds ? Would it mean that it is computed by PIWIS instead of read from the BMS ?

No, the factory does a VAL and computes it remotely.

Hi prj, just a couple questions for you. Maybe it was covered and I missed it. Is the ASG clone only valid for a specific VIN. It’s not swappable for another taycan with the same motor and battery setup?

will the latest updates be available for ASGs purchased now? Will future features be able to be updated via mapev?

It's for a specific car. You can't transfer it to another car without re-flashing (usually) and re-coding the module.

Even thought it might seem to you that there's only a handful of configurations, there are in fact 44 different ASG softwares for the J1.1 Taycan alone.

It can be transferred though completely remotely. Then you save the ASG fee, and we give 10% off the software, so you get a discount of roughly 25% on the J1.1.

As it says in the first post, we don't really diagnose cars here. If you are worried about it, take it to the dealer.
Can't tell you one way or the other

Also, instead of posting photos, save the scan to a file and post the .txt, it's infinitely more useful if someone wants to look at it.

I don't see SoH in the current version of the Diags app while connected to my 1.1 so I'm thinking you'll be looking at this for 1.1 & 1.2 at the same time and Im not missing something?
