Beginning of the year I bought a 2012 McLaren MP4-12c with about 62k miles on it.
Ive put about 5k miles on it since and did plenty of maintenance and LOVE the car but it sits home most of the time as I have two boys (11 & 9) and I dont want to leave either home on car adventures, much less one of them.
I also have a Whippled 2004 CL55 AMG that I semi-daily but parts availability has become something of a challenge.
Today I went and test drove a new Taycan 4 at the local Porsche dealership to get a feel for the car and enjoyed it. They have a gorgeous 4s Cross Turismo CPO that ticks all my boxes.
The only way I can justify the purchase is to sell the 12c and CL55. 1. to free up the cash but 2. And more importantly, to free up the garage space.
I hate seeing the Mclaren sit. For service I either fly in a tech (happened this year) or ship it to Chicago.
Its completely sorted now but will I regret trading it for an EV Wagon?
The Taycan is plenty roomy, CPO until 2030 with unlimited miles is a very attractive proposition and its basically got all the modern amenities one could want.
Thoughts?
