Adjuststable volume - Electric Sport Sound

My Porsche service advisor informed me that they can have the technician adjust the volume of my electric sport sound in my 25 Taycan 4s. Does anyone know if this is true? Is it just a high or low setting or are there additional settings?

I personally wouldn’t make it quieter, as you can already turn it off.

Making it louder may be interesting

The service advisor called me back and they couldn’t figure it out.

They should be able to do this. Its only a software change. For example, the trunk warning can be disabled through PIWIS, if you can find a service center to do it.

It is too bad PAG will not allow third party developers access to their code. It not like its perfect.

Interesting. The sound option was a must for our 2025. After a month both my wife and I shut it off. I was surprised to learn that I like peace in the cabin more.

personally, I would be really interested if I could somehow get a fake 911 rs gt3 sound on my 4S instead of that electric sound. Something like the "iconic sounds sport" offered by Bmw (although I think that the latter is meant only for the cabin. Not the exterior of the car). But I guess it's probably not doable unless you go with an expensive aftermarket solution with new speakers etc.
