2020 4S rear transmission failure with after market warranty

My rear motor recently failed in my 2020 4 S. I scanned the car with a Foxwell i70BT. I brought the list of failed modules to the dealer. They scanned the car and got the OK from the after market Porsche EV warranty to replace the rear motor. Attached is the service invoice. You don't want to own this car without a warranty, $267.50 out of pocket, $24369.12 repair total.

Is that the regular Porsche extended warranty?

I was told by the FI person at Porsche Scottsdale when I got my CPO that the EVSP wouldn't make sense it must start after the 4 year warranty and not after the 2 year CPO warrant expired (wasted 2 years of coverage). So I'm very slowly researching alternatives (assuming I'll still want this car in 5.5 years).

All I know is that the Porsche Vehicle Service Plan Platinum is an agreement with Safeguard. Not sure if that is what OP has or not, but probably is. There are lots of extended warranty threads on this forum.

I am amazed at the difference in transparency for Porsche service in the US and here in France.

Even if I would ask to get any invoice or worksheet from my service guys, for a warranty claim or any recall action, it is not forthcoming?

There is just a one liner on the service sheet saying basically : Performed updates according to Porsche recommendation! But no details and absolutely no costs.

I think this might be the first post letting us know that safeguard is honoring the extended warranty. They have made a lot of money selling us extended warranties. It's nice to know that they are taking care of this claim.

That is crazy money… however it looks like it was reduced by $10000 because the old motor was returned (if I read it correctly). That is also crazy
