I saw a few other threads about launch G force and cornering but haven’t seen anything comparing it from a roll. Curious how my now MapEV tuned car compares to others (especially the stock more powerful trims).

24 Taycan 4S PB+, MapEV tuned. 85% charge, 60 degree F outside temps in sport mode.

30 mph roll- .81 G
50 mph roll- .74 G

How did you measure these values ?
In the car- it may just be available with the sport chrono package.

Example-
Porsche Taycan Max G force from a roll IMG_4372

You just reset the max values then drive however you like and it saves the new max values.

Still curious to have others share their results.

That's where my head went which sounds like a one time measurement.

What is a 30MPH roll?

30-60 60-90 numbers in seconds is somewhat useful.. g force measurements are utterly useless.

acceleration can never be greater than 1g…physics.

It just tells you peak acceleration.

If they were useless then why does Porsche charge extra to view the data?

Not sure what physics class you went to, but that would only be true if you fall off a cliff. I feel like you only watched the first half of the video where they say the maximum 0-60 of any car is 3 seconds……then missed the 2nd half where they explain how you go faster with traction.

Even the 1.1 Turbo S can pull more than a G from a dig-

What I haven’t seen is people showing mag G forces from a roll.

Bottom line? Just trying to see what the peak acceleration from a roll is in different models and how my 4S with a tune compares.

And unlike the 100-200 numbers, you don’t have to break any laws or do anything dangerous to compare what I’m asking.
