Not what I’m saying at all. I’m saying any improvement feels like a great improvement if it’s what you were planning on in the first place - it just doesn’t necessarily mean that the improvement got you the best result in performance.

From my point of view, (I drove a 4s, turbo and then bought a GTS), the acceleration in a straight line was great on all the cars. At no time driving in the city was I “flat” on the throttle, so it’s a question of how hard and how quickly you press it. On the other hand, the reason I want fast throttle response is to weave through traffic, which is MY definition of fun, and why I want sportscar performance (vs an SUV). What makes the weaving feel good is that the car handles it with good grip, minimum body roll, and overall a sense of confidence.

Of course, (I hope) this is a good natured discussion/argument and beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and relates to your driving style. Note: I have a 300hp NSX which I feel not only has suitable power but is a knife through traffic butter and the most fun car I’ve ever driven by miles. And I’ve driven and owned a lot of special interest cars. So my bias is towards handling vs power.
For the OP with a 4, he can get throttle response better than your GTS with the tune. The increase in torque on the 25+ models is insane.

For sure it’s a “to each their own,” but the OP is definitely asking about more power.

You can definitely have fun in a Mazda Miata, but I’ve always had more fun with cars with more power.

I think that’s fair to say. I haven’t driven a 4 so I don’t know the throttle mapping, but I “felt” in my butt the others and I didn’t think that there’s night a day difference. I preferred the GTS ride and the 18 way seats becuase it feels more like my Cup Racecar than the E63s I was replacing. The E63 has “brutish” acceleration, although it’s a 3.3-3.5 second car. The GTS (ST) feels much smoother as it accelerates at the same 0-60 speed (I don’t think .3 of a second is noticeable on the street) which I’m not sure if it’s a feature or not. My wife prefers it as a passenger.

You make fair points @RED! but for me a stock CT4 already has great handling with lovely ride quality, but upgrading its power to give it great performance makes it great overall. With a Turbo or GTS I’d leave it alone!
I’ve offered Chris/OP to try out my 21s. I’m thinking that might just make the car feel like a GTS

I'm totally tempted, if only for the real regen (better throttle / more instant torque doesn't hurt either). But I'm not sure if I'm ready to remove it every time it's needed... I expect to be going through tires pretty often and I have wheel and tire insurance so I tow directly to Porsche.

I’ve done plenty of research and aware of the drastic improvement and enjoyment the tune brings to the car. My main concern and why I started this thread was that in all my research I didn’t encounter anyone doing this tune in Canada and wanted to know more about the difference between EU/US and Canada would have with warranty implications if any.

For me, the CT4 tuned, is absolutely night and day. If I had a GTS, I'm not sure I would tune it. For a little context, I'm also comparing it to my 458. I far prefer the CT4 because (similar to your city driving comments), I can get to almost any opening/spot instantly with zero noise (and materially less "that guy's a dick"). The 458's an insanely wonderful work of art, but the CT4 is a civilized stealth rocket whenever I want it to be and allows me to hop in it and go anywhere without thinking. Hopefully this makes sense.

Totally agree.
When I’m driving my Red GT2 I’m an asshole, when I’m driving a sedan looking car I’m just an aggressive driver. I’ve also found that driving any of my bright colored sports cars attracts idiots at red lights who drive shitboxes with huge tin cans for exhaust tips who want to race their 16v 2.2L four banger against anything that looks expensive. I’ve generally found that nodding, winking, rev’ing and then driving off sedately as i normally do solves the problem.

To be fair, everyone around you does want to hear that 458 exhaust!
